By Christ's d...If I understand it correctly.... By Christ's death and resurrection, all of humanity was redeemed: our sins were forgiven and the path to right relationship with God was re-opened. But we still can choose to cooperate with God's grace and accept that gift of redemption or not; if we do, and persevere until the end of our lives, we will have been saved.
